Initial Research

We first researched about all the different peace and conflict situations and listed them out, this is what we have come up with:

Gangs
  • How extreme can fights between gangs be?
  • What are the different reasons for these conflicts?

Religion
  • How does community cohesion help create peace?
  • What are some of the negative aspects of community cohesion?
  • Why might some religions disagree with community cohesion?

Politics
  • How do politicians express disagreement?
  • When do politicians resort to conflict?

Bullying*

Family conflict
  • How do disagreements between the parents affect the behaviour of the children?
  • How are children affected when their parents separate? (behaviour, attitude)
  • Are children whose parents are violent towards them at home, act violently to other children?

Culture
  • Why do different cultures resort to conflict?
